No Effort Goes Unrewarded

 November 9, 2020

To be honest, it’s challenging every time to start over… to start again. Have you ever had the thought cross your mind, “why even try?”

You’re tired, I get it. Not tired in the ‘I could use more sleep’ sense. You’re mentally, emotionally, and physically tired.

You’re not alone. I don’t believe there is a living soul walking on this earth, or has ever walked this earth, who didn’t live with a challenge where they spent the majority of their life correcting.

Being mortal, means that you will fail, and fail often.

That failure gives you feedback, and every time you stand back up – you stand back up a little stronger, and a little wiser than before.

With that experience from failing, you not only know what not to do, you can pass on the lesson you learned from that experience, to others as a warning.

You can use your experiences in life as a service in helping others. That is a gift!

The most valuable feedback we could give to anyone in this life is, “I understand” and “You’re not alone.”

We all feel a little safer when we receive reassurances that we’re not the only ones who feel the way we do, or have experienced the same or similar struggles and trials in life.

We were never meant to walk this life alone. We were all never meant to be the same. Our differences and shared experiences were meant to be spoken out loud. We are all meant to be teachers to one another, lifting each other up.

So my feedback to you today is that no effort goes unrewarded. Every time you try again, you’re lifting yourself up a little higher, with a little more wisdom to carry you closer to the ultimate goal, and ultimate promise of relief.

Don’t give up. People are watching. Your angels are cheering you on. You are loved and admired far more than you could ever believe. Trust that hope, and faith in yourself, is worth it. Take it just one day at a time. You’ve come too far to give up now. Hold on.

If you know of someone who could use a little boost of encouragement, please feel free to share this with them. 💚

About the author

Becky Cooper, Certified Brain Health Coach.

Often times we find ourselves in need of support in accomplishing life, health, and mindful goals. It takes a great amount of courage to recognize that you can’t do everything alone— we sometimes need someone to help us be accountable to what we truly desire to accomplish in life.  It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child; I feel it takes a tribe to help raise each other [up]. This is at the heart of what I do. 💚  I have found life to be easier when I accept that I am a 'work in progress', and that's enough. While I continue to learn and progress, taking life one step at a time, I can invite others along my journey and help them too; teaching them what I have learned, and encourage them. In December of 2020 I completed the Brain Health training course directed by Dr. Daniel Amen, graduating with the official certification as an Amen Clinics Certified Brain Health Coach. This not only has helped me learn valuable solutions to help myself heal, but also help others who feel the same way as I do; others who are also in search of healing.Read More...
